These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to weconvertfiles.com and the WeConvertFiles tools (the “Service”). The Service is operated by TechKnoGeeks (“WeConvertFiles,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read these Terms and our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your location, or use the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. What the Service does

WeConvertFiles provides browser-based tools for PDFs, images, structured data, text, code, and related tasks. Features, supported formats, limits, and availability can vary by tool and may change over time.

Supported tools perform their main processing in your browser. Content selected or entered into a tool described as browser-processed is not sent to WeConvertFiles for remote conversion. The website still requires network access to load pages and may request third-party libraries, fonts, analytics, or other resources as explained in the Privacy Policy.

3. Permission to use the Service

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable permission to use the Service for lawful personal or business purposes. This permission does not transfer ownership of the Service, its branding, interface, documentation, or source code.

Where source code is made available under an open-source license, that license governs use of the covered code. These Terms govern use of the hosted Service.

4. Your content and responsibilities

You retain any rights you have in files, text, code, images, or other content you select or enter. Browser processing does not grant WeConvertFiles ownership of that content.

You are responsible for:

• having the rights and permissions needed to process the content;
• using the Service and output lawfully;
• checking output for completeness, accuracy, formatting, security, and suitability;
• retaining safe backups of original content; and
• protecting confidential or regulated information according to your own obligations.

Do not rely on the Service as the sole copy of any content. Outputs may differ from originals or lose formatting, metadata, interactive elements, signatures, formulas, fonts, color information, or other features.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the Service to violate law or another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights;
• process content you are not authorized to use;
• distribute malware or attempt unauthorized access to systems, data, or accounts;
• interfere with, overload, scrape abusively, or disrupt the Service or its providers;
• bypass security controls, rate limits, or consent controls through deceptive or harmful means;
• misrepresent generated output as verified, certified, or endorsed by WeConvertFiles; or
• use the Service in a way that could expose us or others to legal or security risk.

6. No professional advice or guaranteed output

The Service is a general-purpose utility. It does not provide legal, medical, financial, tax, compliance, archival, accessibility-certification, or other professional advice. We do not certify that an output satisfies a law, filing rule, industry standard, or accessibility requirement. Review important outputs independently before signing, publishing, filing, distributing, or relying on them.

7. Third-party software, services, and links

The Service may load or link to third-party libraries, fonts, content delivery networks, analytics, or websites. Third-party components may have separate terms, licenses, and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services outside our control. Open-source acknowledgements and licenses are kept available where required.

8. Advertising

The Service may display clearly labelled advertising to help fund its operation. Any advertising and related data practices are described in our Privacy Policy and consent controls. An advertisement is not an endorsement by WeConvertFiles unless we explicitly say otherwise.

9. Availability and changes

We may add, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue part or all of the Service. We do not guarantee that every tool, format, or feature will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or compatible with every browser or device. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, providers, or legal rights, or to respond to misuse or legal requirements.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties and conditions that may lawfully be disclaimed, including implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every input can be processed, that an output will preserve every feature or layout, or that the Service will meet your particular requirements. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WeConvertFiles and TechKnoGeeks will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, or anticipated savings arising from use of or inability to use the Service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, providers, business, or law. We will post the revised Terms and change the “Last updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice. Changes apply prospectively from their stated effective date. If you do not agree to revised Terms, stop using the Service.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you, disputes relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India. Nothing in this section removes rights or forums that applicable consumer law does not allow the parties to waive.

14. General terms

If a provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may assign these Terms as part of a merger, reorganization, sale, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable law. These Terms and the documents they expressly reference form the agreement concerning the Service.
